Good News for Everyone (formerly Gideons) a Charitable Organisation

Over the past 76 years and by God’s grace, our members have built a wonderful foundation on which we continue to build. It is a legacy we can thank God for, but from 2018 we needed to make changes continue to meet with revised regulations within UK Charity Law, and in 2021, we changed our name from “GideonsUK” to GOOD NEWS for Everyone!
Our objective is to introduce others to the Lord Jesus Christ through the distribution of Scriptures in many different areas of life, most often Testaments, which include the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs, but also copies of the full Bible. The main avenues of distribution continue to be in Hotels, Schools, Hospitals, Prisons, Residential Care Homes, the Emergency Service, and the Armed Forces.
In recent years there have been new opportunities to supply personalised Bibles and Testaments with Psalms & Proverbs, to Sports Clubs with the Club Emblem on the cover. Opportunities for Evangelism have opened with some regular organised presence on the Streets and in Markets where we can provide a Stall to present the ministry and place our resources directly into people’s hands when requested.
We are men and women who love Jesus and want others to experience the joy of knowing Him. It is as simple as that! As GOOD NEWS for Everyone, our members are men and women who have a passion to understand and explore Scripture; to live lives of prayer; to be compassionate and generous; and to be a witness to God’s goodness whenever and wherever they can. Our members represent a wide range of denominations and backgrounds and, with support from their own fellowships, we help them to discover their skills and live out their God-given calling.

Good News for Everyone also has an international arm in partnership with ShareWord Global, which provides opportunities to visit other Countries to share in Evangelism along side members form Canada, Sweden, Denmark, and Iceland. We also have responsibility here in the UK for supporting the ministry in Eastern Europe.

Throughout the UK we have around 256 Branches so there will be a branch near you.
