Update and Prayer requests January 2026

MOLDOVA

Life in Moldova is especially tough during the winter months with daytime temperatures around freezing and night times well below that. Wood is still the main source of heating but many cannot afford to buy it so our partner churches continue to chop and provide firewood wherever they can.

Over 6000 shoes boxes were delivered to Moldova (and Ukraine) before Christmas. More arrived at the collection point after the deadline and these were sent on the January Aid Lorry that left on the 17th. These shoe boxes make such a difference and were so appreciated by all who received them. You can see photos and videos on the cr2ee Facebook page
Thank you so much for your loving kindness.

Preparatory work has started on converting a storage room at Andrea’s school into a suitable classroom for children with disabilities and special educational needs. Staff at Vranch House in Exeter are offering their expertise on how to make this new facility work for those who are desperately in need of specialist support.

Please pray:
For everyone involved in donating, collecting, packing, delivering and distributing aid to the people of Moldova.
That the new and good quality, used clothing that has been donated will make a real difference to those living in extreme poverty, especially during these winter months.
That the new classroom being set up for children with disabilities and special educational needs will be life-transforming.
That this practical demonstration on God’s love will lead the recipients to want to know Him for themselves.

There is a extreme poverty Moldova, especially in rural areas, but cr2ee is making a massive difference to individuals, families and communities. Lives are being changed, but this is only possible due to your support, both your prayers and your gifts so THANK YOU.

If you would like to know more about the ongoing prayer requests or answers to prayer please ask Sarah. If you would like further information about cr2ee or have anything to donate, Nick & Sarah would be very pleased to hear from you.

cr2EE shoebox collection 2025

We are delighted to let you know that Sarah & Nick recently delivered 50 plus shoeboxes for this year’s appeal on behalf of CR2EE, together with several bags of items which can help to fill up any boxes which have some gaps – so a big thank you to everyone who contributed from the fellowships of KCBC & Barton Baptist Churches.

Thank you to the team who went along to ensure our boxes were packed as specified before they were sent on to Exmouth. As well as the shoeboxes there were financial donations made, totalling £150, which help to top up boxes as necessary, and/or help towards fuel purchase.

Further Update – Please pray, when the lorries are ready to depart, for safe passage and timely arrival in Moldova & Ukraine. We pray the Christmas Shoeboxes, and all other donations will be a blessing to those who receive them. We give thanks to all those at Exmouth faced with the mammoth task of checking through everything and when the time comes, loading the lorries.

Just a reminder that there is now a special need for camp beds (anything that is collapsible and transportable) for field hospitals, together with sleeping bags.
There is still so much happening in Moldova and Ukraine that needs our prayers and our thankfulness.
