Christians Against Poverty is a national charity, working across the UK to lift people out of debt and poverty. We offer free debt counselling through a network of 239 debt centres based in local churches.
We support the local CAP Debt Centre (CAP Teignbridge) through our own volunteers.

CAP Teignbridge offers free debt help, practical and emotional support, and to show people that there is Always Hope.
Working in partnership with local churches across Teignbridge, we help to lift the burden of unmanageable debt.

Teignbridge Homeless Action Today (THAT Food Bank), a non-profit organisation based in Buckland which is actively working to alleviate poverty in our community.
We aim to assist those struggling financially and the homeless by supplying them with essential items such as food, toiletries. We also provide home start packs, fuel key top ups and offer information and a place to chat.
As well as helping members of the community with issues that need immediate attention, we also strive to ensure that those using our services have fewer problems in the future by working together to address the underlying issues that are causing the problem and taking steps to minimise them.
