to Kingsteignton Community Baptist Church - Motivated by love

Kingsteignton Community Baptist Church are a Bible-believing church who meet in the Community Centre in Rydon Road, Kingsteignton.

We have experienced God’s love to us through Jesus Christ and our desire is to have Jesus at the centre of all that we do, to be truly motivated by his love.

Our principle objectives are to worship God, to present the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ clearly and simply, to help people of all ages to come to a knowledge of the truth and faith in Jesus Christ, and to grow in faith and serve God in the local community and beyond.



We meet at 10.30am each Sunday in the Community Centre and at 6:30pm in peoples' homes for informal Bible study. There is an open prayer meeting each Monday evening at 7:30pm. A few times each year we join with the other churches in the area for a Sunday evening meeting.

Babies and children are very welcome, there is a small play space within our service area. At 11.00am we have Toddler Bible Stories with fun activities, a Sunday Club for 5-11 year olds and a separate teens group. During the school summer holidays we have a slightly shorter Sunday morning service and the children and young people stay in with us.

Our popular Parent and Toddler group (‘Kilts’) is held on Tuesday mornings during term time from 10.00am to 11.30am and is open to everyone in the community.

We meet at various times and locations for prayer and on Tuesday mornings for a house group Bible study. There are bi-weekly evening house groups on different evenings of the week. Each group has a different mix of people and its own character - all are welcoming.
